when you start turning up the boost and the rpm. If the flow is not just right and the clearance, then bye bye rod bearing. Bster's engine was shortest lived from what I saw. I had dozens of boost runs to high redline. My rod knock developed after 4000 miles and died 1000 miles later. Remembe Z hounds engine is stock bottom end with the heavy brick stock rods. His oiling clearance and passages must be just right. I am looking for alternate ways to increase oil flow, with upgraded oil pump or shimming the relief valve on the stock pump.
